Being part of the OHAA is very rewarding. It allows former NAIT players to jump on the ice at our weekly skates, have a laugh and swap stories. The part of playing competitively that players often miss the most is the dressing before and after the skate. There is a mix of alumni from the 1960's up to recently graduated players and seeing those interactions is something that those coming out for the first time will really appreciate.

We understand that everyone has busy lives. While regular participation is encouraged, it's not mandatory. Join when you can and enjoy the camaraderie and fun whenever your schedule permits.

Our alumni games are played for fun and fitness, not high-stakes competition. All skill levels and fitness states are welcome. It's a great way to get back into shape and enjoy the game you love.

We strive to keep costs minimal. While there may be occasional fundraising activities, participation fees for skates and events are kept affordable so everyone can join in on the fun.

Absolutely! Our alumni community spans all graduating years, from our original team in 1965 to recent graduates. It's a great mix of youth and experience, and everyone is welcome.

There are many ways to contribute, whether it's through mentorship, participating in fundraising efforts, or simply showing up to support the team. Every little bit helps in continuing our legacy.

We welcome alumni from all over. Even if you can't attend every event, staying connected through our database and occasional visits is a way to maintain your relationship with the Ooks. You can even pay our associate membership that will help support our funtions.
